When will I be charged?
The UC Direct system bases most processing on each unique employee separation that is processing
through "CaseBuilder". For example, if you use CaseBuilder to process a claim with a specific separation date and
information, as long as that separation doesn't change, you can re-use it to process additional requests for separation
information from the state. Only if the employee returns to work and then separates again would you be required to
pay another fee in UC Direct. You will always be prompted to approve each payment before a charge is applied to
your credit card.

How will I be charged?
The UC Direct system will always charge the credit card you entered during registration, and you will always
receive a notification that your card is about to be charged before we do so.

Security

Will UC Direct ever share my data with other parties?
No. TALX UC Direct does not share any of the employee information entered or actions performed with outside

Is TALX UC Direct a secure environment for my confidential employee information?

Why do I have to enter the employee’s Social Security Number?
TALX has been a provider of unemployment services for employers for more than 40 years. Throughout that time,
we have been in the position of working with employee SSNs for our clients in the most secure ways possible. All
states use Social Security Number as the only identifier for every individual in their state, making it essential
information in processing and responding to unemployment claims and related documents. To find out more about
